rough ride

Hey
I have a 96 EB 4x4 that is riding like crap.Very rough,and hard on even the slightest bump.
It has 200,000 km on it. I replaced all 4 shocks and sway bar bushings (were knocking),and didn't change.
Also if i hit a bump on a twisty road at speed it will try to throw the truck sideways.
Always had a decent ride before.Any suggestions of what to look for would be great.

If the shocks are good and you replaced the sway bar bushings, I would suggest finding a good alignment shop and make sure they do more than just toe adjustment, the camber might be off if your rear is sagging, which means the leaf springs are weakening and could be contributing to your rough ride

did you check the 5th shock under the rear end, different people have greatly varied stories about how much the 5th shock does for ride. but I would check it and see if it is bad.
