starter removal?

AM trying to remove starter from 95 ford explorer 4x4, having hard time getting bolts off.how do I get to the to bolts, won't budge, any suggestions?

Hose the bolts with PB Blaster, it has broken things apart that I never dreamed would come apart.

As said before, a soaking of PB Blaster will free up the nastiest rusted bolts. Good stuff.
PB blaster and Duct tape, two of life's greatest things.

I can't imagine starter bolts getting that tight. Not to be a smart azz, but are you cranking the correct way?
