I spent months trying to get rid of annoying cabin drone with my Flowmaster SUV 50 Series muffler on my old '00 Sport with SOHC. Drone was nowhere near as bad as the case with an earlier Magnaflow, but it bothered me at times. Tried everything from sound deadener to polyfill in the door panels. Nothing worked until I got this resonator installed. Drone in the cabin was almost nil after the install. Didn't quieten down the outside too much either.
Get a model with the same diameter as your pipes an there is no restriction whatsoever. Just a mellower sounding exhaust if your muffler is too loud for your tastes.
