Pros:

Cons:

winsheild mount could be a little more substantial

Ever since ive been driving Ive had a radar detector. My first unit was an older Escort Passport that served me well for years. When the time came to replace my aging unit i shoped around and narowed it down to to a Valentine 1, a Cobra, or this unit. I decided to stay faithfull to the Passport, and so far im glad i did.

Pros:

Excellent range, configurable options

|
Cons:

Blue display costs more than red version
|
|
I've had this detector for about 2 years now and it's very good. The blue version costs a little more than the red display model, but the manufacturer claims that's because the blue display costs more to make. There isn't any performance difference.
Not only does it function excellently as a radar detector, but you can configure it to your liking, with a steady operating display, scrolling dots or symbols, or even a voltmeter.
