Pros: clean look, good ride
Cons: boots dry rotten after 4 years

I had these on my old Ranger, they worked well. They had good ride qualities (for being on a ranger with 5" of lift.) As I stated above, the boots began to become dry rotten after about 4 years.

Pros: Good ride and reasonable price
Cons: little stiff for daily driving

I run these on my DD '99 Explorer. They are a little stiff for a DD, but I like the ride. I have run these on my trail rigs and they are awsome for an offroad vehicle.

Pros: Great ride, good looks, reasonable price
Cons: No directions on, in, or near box; resorted to internet

Simple installation, never had to jack it up. Hardest parts of replacement were removing old stock shocks and fitting the boots onto the new ones. Gets rid of the see-saw effect! Firm ride, as to be expected with this type of shock, yet not unbearable for the DD.

Pros: great ride, easy installation
Cons: no installation instructions

i just replaced the stock shocks with these and the ride improvement is very noticable.. i like the tight feel of the suspension and the "boat" like wobble are all gone. of course results vary per user experience..

Pros: Great ride, moderate cost ($50 each)
Cons: Putting on those $@#%&*! boots

Just replaced the Monroe shocks with these at 180k miles. The difference is night and day--no more wallowing over bumps, no more freeway wandering at the slightest pavement imperfection. Cornering is much improved as well--and general ride quality has gone from poor to good. Wish I'd done this earlier.
