Pros: Awsome- dont even need windshield wipers
Cons: application can be tricky

When I have this on my windshield, I rarely need my wipers. In fact, the only time I use my wipers when I have recently applied this product, is in the wash function. It's like putting scotchguard on your windows. Application takes some elbow grease though. Wipe it on, let it glaze like wax, then buff it with a paper towel to get it off. It does require some effort on the buffing to get it clear.

Pros: Perfect in rain of all kinds, rarely use my wipers.
Cons: Lots of work to get right, but hey, what are you? Lazy?

Aldive.. no staying power? I had one application on my s-10 applied in March of 2005. I just reapplied because I had the windshield replaced! Obviously it was not working as well as it was for the first 6 months of the application, but you could still tell and feel it on the glass. Water was still beading. If you're careful in the application and start with a super clean base, this stuff lasts for ages!

Pros: Works great and keeps the windows cleaner longer.
Cons: The buffing off the excess can take a little getting used too.

I love using this stuff on the out side of my windows. I even use there inside window treatments too. I find that my windows stay cleaner for a much longer period of time then they would using Windex. The buffing is the tricky part where it's hard to see where you missed until you catch it in the light just right.

Pros: Works very well when applied correcty
Cons: Need frequent re-application

I love Rain-X. I can't live without it. It's kind of annoying to have to re-apply it relatively often, but a lot of those times I think are because when I applied it it wasn't done in optimal conditions (correct temperature, completely clean, etc). Overall, it's a great product, helps visibility a ton. I don't see myself ever not using it.
