Pros:
power, sound better MPG
Cons:
loud drone at highway speeds
Just got mine done at a local shop over winter break, I love the extra power, louder sound and better MPG. I have an K&N intake so an exhaust was the next mod, more air in you need more air out. The only bad thing is that at seventy MPH it can get kinda loud, but with some music it is not bad.

Inconsistent tone on V6, resonation

I had a Magnaflow on my '99 Sport with SOHC V6. At times it sounded good, other times it sounded horrible. I had installed in the stock pipes (including OEM resonator). At times is sounded flat out ricey. My wife called my Ex a "riceburner" on more than one occasion. After a road trip, I got got the Magnaflow cut out and a Flowmaster SUV 50 put in. The drone with the Magnaflow was so bad I had a slight headache. Also put in new pipes (2.5") and cut out the resonator. Even with the larger pipes and no resonator, the Flowmaster sounded much better (althought I ended up putting an aftermarket resonator in eventually, but the drone wasn't as bad as Magnaflow).
I've heard this muffler works great with the V8 (which I have now in my '99 Eddie). I decided against the Magnaflow (which I still have in storage) and went with a Flo-Pro instead. Maybe some day I'll try it out on the 5.0, but I'm happy with my current setup.

I paID 275 for the entire system at my mechanic. I got the dual in dual outset up. 2.5 inch pipes, and 3" chrome tips. Acceleratting it just sounds brutally mean. At highway speeds of 75, shes quite and no interior resonance. Theres a hum but its barely noticable. Some music at low volume or a coversation and you forget about it. Also i got 3 mpg on the highway. A trip to and from dayton got me 18 mpg. After the install i got 21 mpg going the same speed. I love it.

I've had my Magnaflow muffler with custom tubing for almost 2 years now on my 93 4.0 OHV. It sounds awesome, gave me a good bit more power over stock, and it's not loud until you get on it. Once I do my V8 swap, I'll definitely be using the dual Magnaflow setup!

I have had this same muffler installed with a high flow cat to clear my 700R4 transmission housing. Good sound, more power.
