Pros: Just a Great OS to Have
Cons: Slow when on Battery (laptop only)

BEST operating system I've had on a computer! I bought a tv tuner and now I can watch tv through my computer, record, burn shows to a DVD. The media that you can run on the system is just awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone and if you are getting a PC soon, look into getting a Media Center PC/Laptop. I'm sure more will chime in on how great it is!

Pros: Easy to use (I figured it out), TV schedule and guide, etc etc
Cons: If you're a TV addict you can fill up your hard drive fast!

Windows Media player is awesome. Just like having Tivo but no need for a dish. You can set it to record whole seasons of shows too. Pause TV. The best part is you can do screen captures of live TV. :p

Pros: New but original gui, media center
Cons: Media Player is no different, Windows Dancer

I like it, dad got it with his laptop , Windows Media Player has been one of the players i usually frown upon, as always there has to be something right? I think it runs great, but for people who dont know how to set it up it can more bad then good. The media center aspect is pretty cool, and definately handy.... remote control options too i believe? Now it just needs to come with a USB beer fridge and were good to go. And amazingly enough, theres a party mode for those of you who like having their computer playing hours and hours of music, without people screwing with it

And why is everyones prices so high? I hope your not listing the price of your computers... this is a Windows XP Media Center review right?
