Pros: smoother handling over bumps and rough surfaces
Cons: Lack of instructions, price and it comes with grade 5 bolts

The difference between stock and these is amazing. Granted my stockers had 100k on them but if you were to hit a pot hole at highway speeds, you would almost be redirected into another lane.

Now with these on, bumps almost disappear. Winter is hard on our roads but I don't feel it nearly as much anymore.

The one aspect that I did not like is the fact that they come with grade 5 mounting bolts. This was easy enough to cure by going to the hardware store and picking up some grade 8 hardware in the exact size as the ones provided.

Now that they are on the truck, I love them and will buy them again when the time comes.

Pros: Smoother Ride, Better high speed handling
Cons: No Directions, Low quality Hardware

I just put these shocks on the front of my Explorer at 114,000 miles. It still had the oem shocks on it which were completely shot. I have driven now almost 500 miles with these shocks, and I must say they have been the best 500 miles this truck has ever had. Smoother ride, and is more stable at highway speeds. I'm putting a set on the rear tonight. The only problem I encountered was the quality of the hardware. I stripped out one of the bolts and had to make a trip to the hardware store.
