Description: LUBEGARD PLATINUM® is a Time, Space and Money saver which eliminates the confusion of multiple ATF applications. Simply use with any required ATF (with the exception of Ford® Type F ATF, and only for use in CVT's that require DEXRON ATF). Also use to enhance DEXRON®/MERCON® ATF to perform like a MERCON® V ATF or a Highly Friction Modified ATF.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, no more slippage
Cons: None

This has to be one of the best products I have ever used on any of my vehicles. It had been 17,000 miles since a quick lube transmission flush with Mercon ATF. The shop claimed to have added a bottle of stuff to convert to Mercon V but I'll never know. Anyway, the transmission was recently slipping and shuddering noticeably when downshifting, and in general shifts were rather soft, even with a Bamachips program in place. I was beginning to think the only way to fix it was to go to the dealer and have them flush out the existing stuff and replace with real Mercon V. Not cheap at around $150. When I added a bottle of this magic potion, the transmission firmly shifted up and down, and the shudder is completely gone.

Excellent product, very highly recommended.
