Description: Sears has been in business for many years. My Grandfather has used their tools before I was born. They have a lifetime replacement warranty on the Craftsman brand, but not the Sears, or Companion brand. They have everything from tools, to work clothes. They also offer automotive services such as tire, and battery replacement.
Keywords: Sears Craftsman Companion.

Pros: They have free tool replacement on the Craftsman brand.
Cons: Watch out for hidden charges when going to their service center!

They once gave me a refund of $15 on a discontinued tool. Another time they did the same thing. The Sears, and Champion product line does not have this warranty. Those tools cost a little less. Watch out for hidden charges when going to their service center. If you buy tires from them, they charge a tire disposal fee (even if you keep your old tires), charge for new air valves (you have to tell them that you don't want them, they will give you new ones anyway), and an extra $11 for lifetime balancing. You could go to a small tire shop, and pay a $6 fee to have them balanced, but it is a one time deal. If you want to go to Sears to get balancing, and tire rotation, they make you wait all day, so you are better off going to a small place to have them balanced. They also try to talk you into tire insurance just in case you get a flat. You could buy a tire repair plug kit, and keep it in your vehicle. It's easier than having to put on a spare, and wait all day for them to repair it.
