Pros: Good for the home mechanic as an alternative to ramps.
Cons: The center cross member makes it difficult to do transmission work.

This lift is the lowest priced lift on the market. I had to cut the center cross member off to be able to do transmission work. They say that it is portable (759 pounds)! I was able to move it around with some difficulty. It rises pretty quickly, and is not very noisy. Sometimes it could be difficult to align some vehicles underneath it. It comes with 4 adjustable rubber pads to align with the vehicle's frame. There is another model which comes with two separate pieces that you have to align. It is open in the center, and easier to move around. Overall for the price it's not bad.
