I purchased a Volant Cool air intake from them for my 2002 Ford Explorer and I received a used unit. It arrived in a plan brown box with clear tape on it. The parts where loose inside the box with the clamps and gasket stored in plastic zip lock baggies. The box had an extra hole drilled in the side of it and black silicone affixed around the opening.
I ordered this on 6-27-06 and after John giving me the run around and then finally not answering my emails or returning my calls. I filed a complaint with the BBB on 8-30-06 and then they finally responded by saying that they where going to replace it for me. Now it's 11-28-06 and they wont even respond to the BBB's emails or follow up with the promise they made to back the products that they sell. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this company. As of today I talked with Volant and they are sending me out a new unit today and accepting the old one in exchange. I am not one to just jump the gun and start bashing a company for poor service but I have waited and tried to deal with them for 5 months and they simply refuse to back up there return policy.
