Description: I purchased the 95-01 Cowl hood from Explorer Express. Over all contruction of the hood is high quality. Made in the USA. Over all cost was $425 for hood + $37 crate fee + $175 slow freight. For a cost of $637.00 dropped off at my house. So yes the hood was a slight bit pricy. All factory mounting were perfect.

Now for my down sides of the hood. The crate for shipping was more like a cardboard box, so even with hood in a nice box the hood did get a few nicks which means I had to do more body work. The hood is the right size but its not a very good fitting hood. even with the hinges removed and adjusted all the way down the hood still sticks up over the side fenders and the wiper cowl on the truck. which means I now have to modify my hinges that mount to the fire wall to get the hood to line up. not really what I think I should have to do with a hood that cost as much as it did.

over all I give it a thumbs down as it needs more then just a little ajustment to get it to fit properly.
