Pros: Traction, durablity, looks
Cons: On-road longevity

My bone stock 94 XLT has seen lots of miles (185K) and lots of abusive 4x4 trails (in Colorado and Texas). I've run Scorpions for about 85k miles since 1998 on wet and dry pavement, dirt, mud, ice, snow (up to 2 feet), and on wet and dry rocks (where these tires really shine). I have yet to have any problems with traction. I've never "aired down" on the trail for traction and even at full street pressure, I can out climb BFG equipped trucks. I give much of the credit to the tires.

While rock crawling in Colorado, I put a quarter inch deep cut in the sidewall (jagged granite will do that) without losing pressure. Even when I did lose pressure in one tire (ran over a broken knife blade) the side walls where strong enough to support the truck. I thought the tire looked about 10 pounds low, when in fact it had 0 psi.

On road, the tires are relatively quiet and offer a smooth ride and great handling, even at 80 mph.

If the tire has any weak point, it would be on-road wear. They don't last as long as more pavement minded tires. I got about 35-40k miles out of them, but considering the abusive conditions, I was impressed. For the price, you just can't beat the Scorps.

I swear by these tires. For my current set, I went up from 235/75 to 31x10.50. With a couple of extra inches on these tremendous tires, I intend to shame even bigger Jeeps on even tougher trails.
