Description:
|
UDPs for other applications have been around for about a decade. UDPs allow a motor to produce more power by freeing up power lost to parasitic drag. For dollar value, many think UDPs are one of the best mods for HP gain on the market today

I put one of these on my OHV. I have no charging problems and it works well. I average slightly better gas mileage compared to the stock pulley.

Had this ASP udp on for about 2 months, then began feeling a rumbling noise. Noise got worse and worse and finally had codes thrown. Dual misfires caused me to bring the truck to Ford, where after a boat load of tests were performed, it was found this thing ate up my crank key. It was found out that this had a substantially smaller diameter, and therefore wobbled around the assembly. This wobble caused the damaged key and misfires. I have yet to send it back to ASP because I'm sure they will say nothing is wrong with it, and that it was put in wrong.
