Pros: Worked flawlessly every time it was used with a different hard drive.
Cons: Watch the 2 small wires going to the rear light bulb. They are fragile with fine insulation.

I found this product at Radio Shack. This unit is a replacement for my old mobile rack system which was connected directly to the internal IDE connectors inside of the computer. That system had a swap manager program which would allow you to select which drive(s) were going to be used while the computer was running without having to reboot whenever a different drive(s) were selected. It didn't always work, and sometimes required pulling the tray with the drive, and restarting the program. This drive system is completely different. You just plug it into a USB port, and turn on the switch. The computer doesn't require any special utility programs, or drivers (except for Win 98). It comes with drivers for Win 98 for anybody still using it.
