Fast cutting, and very sharp. Long 12 inch length.

Don't apply an excessive force for an extended period of time or the blade will snap.

This was the only tree pruning blade which I could find in a 12 inch length. They come in a 9 or 12 inch size. Overall, they seem to be good. The teeth don't shave down too fast since they are very deep, but they could get dull just like any other blade. Don't apply excessive force for an extended period of time. It will over stress the blade, and cause it to snap. It doesn't shatter like cheap blades do. It didn't seem to get kinks from repetitive banging into wood in front of it. Other blades would have turned into a "Z" shape under the same stress. As far as density of the metal, the Lenox Gold is a harder blade, but both have a certain amount of flexibility.
