Pros: Long Lasting, Never needs replaceing,
Cons: Some say they harm MAF's , initial price

The horsepower gains are up for debate and will be forever.
Even though the initial price is somewhat high, you will recover the cost in 30-50 K miles depending on how much you would ordinarily change your air filter, ie $5 for a paper filter x 10 changes (usually with oil change) =$50.
I have them in all 3 of my current vehicles as well as I have had them in the last 4 previous vehicles.

Pros: throttle response
Cons: none yet

didnt notice mpg improvements, but definitley faster throttle response. combined with my 50 series f/m catback, there are gains in pickup for sure. never dyno'd but i bet theres some improvment. 70k, 3 cleanings, and no noticable grime in the maf yet. i guess you can say it has paid for itself so far. only time will tell i guess. but still no trouble with the IAC or the MAF.

Pros: Never needs to be replaced
Cons:

I had this on my Explorer and noticed no difference in miles per gallon or power. It is great if you don't like buying air filter.

Pros: everything
Cons: finding decent price

found on partsamerica.com for 45.99 went to shucks and it was 54.99 so they gave it to me for 45.99 plus 5% off i was stoked. i love it the ol' beast feels like a young pup. better throttle response and maybe a horse or two gain.
