Description: Aura bass shaker in theory creates the feel of big subs, while only having a small sub. It goes on the principal that big subs shake more than you hear them, compared to a small sub, so this is meant to trick the mind.
Keywords: Sub, bass, shaker, bass aura

Pros: Works very well, easy to install
Cons: None yet

I used to have 2 15" subs in the back of my explorer. The box eventually formed a sizable crack, so I ended up just building a single 15" box. This has served me well, but it still takes up a lot of room. So, I decided to try out a bass shaker. I installed it behind my center console, on the floor in the rear. I only got one, because I was skeptical of how well they would work. I then switched out my 15" sub to my older 10" that just didn't cut it anymore. To my surprise, the 10" and the bass shaker felt and sounded almost exactly like the 15". If I had not known what I had in there, I would just assume I had dual 12's or a 15".

I say that if you compliment a bass shaker with a 10", you will be very happy with it. I know I plan on getting more bass shakers, so I can also put one under each seat, for an even greater effect.

Anybody who has one of the MTX subs, the hidden back panel kind, and are thinking about getting something else, because it just isn't cutting it, I would recommend trying a bass shaker first.
