Pros: A powerful saw which doesn't require any special lubrication.
Cons: Doesn't come with a carry case. It has an option for a better blade locking wrench, but it only comes with a hex head key. The bevel scale can't go down to zero because of a manufacturing defect of the way it was printed, but it still aligns flat.

This is a pretty powerful saw. It is advertised that it has an electric brake, but it still runs on for a few seconds, but not as long as other saws. The bolt which locks the blade in place gives you the option of either using their hex head allen style key or a box wrench. I have an offset type of wrench from an old saw which seems to fit perfectly, and prefer to use that over their key since it gives me a better grip to make the bolt tight. It comes with an end guide rip fence, but no carry case or LEDs to illuminate the work area or to be used as a guide. It came with a Craftsman 3D sanding tool as a bonus for ordering it online.

Pros: The store made an exchange 1 1/2 months after it was purchased.
Cons: The brushes broke, and the motor was burning.

After 1 1/2 months, the saw started to develop problems. The rear brushes chipped, and caused the motor to start making a burning smell along with sparking, and running rough. The store exchanged it, and didn't give me a hard time like I had origninally anticipated. I don't think the average person would have this problem so fast since it was used a lot during this time period for heavy duty work. The second saw didn't have the problem with the scale incorrectly marked like the first one.
