Pros: Very useful tool for a reasonable price. Easy to store, and take to a job site.
Cons: Don't squeeze the handle too hard if you know that it won't move. It broke the first time it was used.

This tool is handy when you have to install a heavy light fixture, sheetrock, overhead stud, cabinets, or just about anything you would need an assistant to hold.

I haven't used the harbor freight version but I have used those before and they are very very handy to have. The one I had was $60 though and not readily available.

Pros:
Cons:

I found out today that the handle which is made out of plastic is very fragile. Don't squeeze it too hard. This tool is not intended for lifting heavy weights. It should only be used as a support.
