Pros: Measures in inches (decimals), fractions, and millimeters.
Cons: No RS-232 cable supplied. Battery came low, but still worked.

There aren't too many digital calipers on the market which are capable of reading fractions. Most read in inches (decimals), and millimeters. The display kept blinking after a few seconds, and the readings were not always accurate. According to the instruction sheet, this means that the battery is low, and needs to be replaced. A new battery fixed this problem, and it worked the way it should. The auto shut off worked after it sat for approximately 3 minutes without being used. This comes in a nice plastic carry case, and is all stainless steel except for the actual part with the electronics. After contacting Amazon about the issue of the defective battery, I was given a refund of $6.75 with a fast response to my email.
