Pros: Cordless, long-lasting LED's, comes with magnet mount
Cons: Not as bright as flourescent

I bought this for my dad for his birthday. A big factor when I got it was the fact it was cordless, and LED. The LED's leave a little to be desired as far as lighting, but work acceptably. It has the nice feature of a "spotlight" that comes out the front, which is selectable by the switch. The magnet mount is also nice, and is covered with felt to prevent from scratching the paint.

Overall, it's a good light, but the one's they have with almost twice the LED's would probably more adequately light your work area.

Pros: portable, good battery life
Cons: not that bright, plastic housing cracks easily

My biggest beef with this light is that the clear plastic housing is very brittle. Mine cracked after about 6 months of occasional use, it only fell from about 3 feet, at least it was on the backside of the light when it did it. My dad had one also and it lasted about a year with very minimal use and when his cracked open it fell off of a table and the cracks spidered out all over the case, making the light all but useless. So if you do buy one be very careful with it since it probably won't survive more than one or 2 drops.
