Maybe it's just me, but I was extremely disappointed with these hoses. First off, there is a type of Schrader valve in the end of the yellow hose. This is supposed to prevent refrigerant from escaping out of the hose & gauges, but I found it held back too much pressure, so much that the system would not charge. I tightened the tap valve--which was also made by Interdynamics and claimed to work with all R-134a manifold gauge service hoses--as tight as I could on to the end of the hose but still no luck. Perhaps these hoses would be better if you are using a refrigerant bottle instead of the can, but I don't know if I'd count on it.
Another beef I have about these is that there is no shutoff valve near the end of the hoses. The fittings have an auto shut-off feature. This sounds great but in reality I didn't particularly like it. The valves are harder to connect to the service ports because of it. I had to use a lot of force on one of them and nearly bent a line. Purging the hoses requires the use of the adapters they provide, and is a pain and results in a lot of wasted refrigerant. I can't see how this meets EPA requirements. Additionally, not having a shutoff at the end proved to be a PITA when the yellow hose wasn't working, because in order to charge the system I had to connect the can directly to the blue hose, and since I couldn't shut it off I had to connect and disconnect it each time I had to swap the can and gauge.
The only reason why I'm keeping these hoses, is because I forgot to return them before the 30-day return policy ran out. If you need a decent set of hoses for your gauge, I'd look for something else.
