The Only Packing in this Baby... is the Punch!
FLO-PRO has proven it beats the competition with louvered pipe that accelerates the exhaust flow through our muffler. The louvers also give a deep performance sound without the use of fiberglass that eventually blows out!
FLO-PRO performance mufflers are designed to boost the horsepower generated from your street vehicle. The 100% aluminized steel welded construction will outlast conventional locked-seam, double wrap mufflers.

Flo-Pro is a Canadian company based in Red Deer, AB. They do have distribution all over the US (I actually heard about them first on this site from an American poster). I wanted something for my V8 Eddie Bauer that was mellow and not obnoxious. Flo-Pro sort of prides itself on having lots of different models for different tastes. I scored a dual in, single out model (FP736 is the model #). Would most likely work with the SOHC V6 as well. They also have a shorter version which would probably be a bit louder.
The shop where I got it highly recommended it. They said it's a bit louder than stock and flows very nicely. They recommend this product often over many more "popular" brands. They felt that the mufflers are better crafted than most and have great service to boot. I don't doubt it. I emailed Flo-Pro once to get a list of dealers in my area and they replied right away with a ton of them. Then I emailed them with my tastes in a muffler and they emailed me right away with a model #. The shop was able to score one for me right away.
I put the muffler on right after I had an intake put on and before I got the custom tuning done via my XC2 flasher. I got 2.5" pipes from the cats back and a SS tip. I tell you, it was noticeable right away. Definitely more "ooomph" than stock. The sound was a little more aggressive than stock, but not bad. Cabin drone was minimal.
I used one other Flo-Pro product before this. I scored a resonator for my old Sport SOHC with a Flowmaster SUV 50 series muffler. That product worked great as well.
Flo-Pro is definitely a GREAT muffler and a great company to boot.

I have used Flo Pro mufflers behind my OHV v6 and now behind my 5.0L V8. my exhaust shop recommended them to me and I trust my exhaust guy, he was right! They work great! I will be buying another one for my V8 explorer when the time comes.
