Description: M-6250-E303

Good idle quality. Excellent low- and mid-range power. Power through 6000 RPM. Emissions legal with 5-speed manual trans (E.O. #D-225-16). Works good with automatic transmission. Great for superchargers.

Pros: Great power gains,, hod rod idle, great for passing
Cons: Temperamental idle

This camshaft has worked out quite well in my Explorer for being an out-of-box cam. Together with my other mods, I have picked up a lot of noticable power. Even on 33's, my Explorer is a lot faster than my 306ci Mountaineer. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, guaranteed to work camshaft.

My install instructions can be found here:

Pros: more power especially mid range, 1500rpm up
Cons: Idle is tricky to work out through tuning.

Nothing like that loby cam sound! Power increases are very apparent.
