The Baja Ultra Off Road Suspension Seat was designed for the off road enthusiasts who want the safety of suspension and the comfort of Corbeau. We integrated our state-of-the-art suspension technology with the comfort and design that Corbeau is known for, and from that came the Baja Ultra Off Road Suspension Seat. Our expertise on comfort and our experience with performance seats is what makes the Baja Ultra one the most advanced suspension seats on the market today. The Baja Ultra is the big brother to the Baja SS Seat. It is four inches taller and one inch wider. The Baja Ultra Off Road Seat will enhance not only the look of your vehicle but also the overall driving experience. As a rule of thumb, the Baja Ultra Off Road Seat will fit up to a 36-38 inch waist while the Baja Ultra Wide will fit up to a 42 inch waist. The Baja Ultra Off Road Suspension Seat is available in all vinyl and vinyl/cloth fabrics.

When converting my Explorer to a full blown off road truck I knew I wanted to get a racing seat that would suck you in and be comfortable for a long day in the seat. Also being 6'4" I needed to wedge myself in there and be comfortable.
I found Corbeau after sitting in several seats at an offroad expo and hearing the same pitch from every salesman. I do believe higher prices can get you better quality, but when I reviewed the Corbeau didn't think the extra 200-300 bucks per seat would have the return on investment that others were discussing.
I also decided that a suspension seat over a hard plastic seat was the ideal choice for a truck that would be doing the duty I had planned for mine.
The only issue which I contribute to the way I enter my vehicle is that the piping on the outside of the drivers seat wore away very fast. I don't totally blame the manufacturer's quality for this early wear pattern however.
The black interior is a great choice as I know every color gets dirty. I have driven my Explorer in Phoenix in the summer and I would not say the black is hot to the touch, the metal buckles on the belts is a much worse issue. Clean up on black seems to be the best and I love how it looks.
Best feature on these seats though? The rear zipper pouch, absolutely awesome.
