Pros: Decent DIY first manual, includes some good info
Cons: Missing a lot of crucial stuff, blurry points.

Decent repair manual. A good general guide for repairs but seems that too much was forced into too small a book. It does have a lot of good information but is missing some crucial stuff too, and instructions are very basic in places. Missing a lot of things, like interior panel removal, and it is hard to quickly find torque specifications and capacities even if you've used the book before. CEL code recall and diagnosing information is limited and I had better luck with FordFuelInjection.com for that information. Overall not nearly as useful a book as I would have hoped. Save the money and take your laptop out to the garage; FFI.com, this forum, and the Ford/Mercury Dealer Service Manual CD are all much better investments but if you have cash lying around it is still good for a teen's first repair book or a bathroom novel.

Pros: Good book to borrow from Library.
Cons: Missing important details and even some basic items

yes I would recommend it, but only if you don't have access to anything else. It is missing wiring diagrams and other important information that you won't notice until you get knee deep into the work.
