Pros: It's capable of grabbing pipes from the inside in confined areas to tighten or loosen them.
Cons: They should have made the front in steps from the smallest to the largest so that it wouldn't have to be reversed.

I originally purchased this tool to extract a corroded pipe that was in a tile wall. It won't turn rusty pipes since they can't be removed even with easy outs, extractors or pipe wrenches. I ended up breaking the wall, and cutting the pipe. This tool came in handy when I had to tighten the new pipe. It was hard to get a pipe wrench on the top of the pipe since it was recessed into the wall. This tool was able to grab the pipe to tighten it. They should have designed this tool to have the increments all on the same side to avoid having to reverse it. The 1 1/4" size is repeated on both sides.
