Pros: It bonds pretty quickly, and usually does the job.
Cons:

I've used this product for many years on hot pipes connected to a running steam heat boiler, drain pipes, automotive exhaust systems, and around air pipes going through a roof. It's capable of sealing leaks in about 20 minutes. The putty has to be mixed with your fingers, then applied to the surface. There is another one specifically designed for plastic that hardens in 40 minutes. I've used the Propoxy 20 on plastic, and it didn't always work. It works on metal very well. A dry surface will give you better results.
