Pros: Very easy to use, accurate, and ergonomic.
Cons: It doesn't come with a carry case or a battery, and the temperature range is low compared to other IR scanners.

This scanner gives a very accurate reading on the first pass. It projects a colored light onto the area that is being scanned which changes color as the temperature changes. The display is easily viewable in low light conditions. It shuts off automatically when it's not being used for a few minutes to conserve battery power. Overall, it's a nice tool for HVAC testing as well as checking for cold air leak around windows & doors.
