Pros: Silent, great grip, great highway manners and off-road preformance. very strong with 3-ply side walls
Cons: Non

I have these in LT265/70R17 121/118R E/10PLY installed on a 2008 Explorer which I have driven in all conditions except deep snow and mud. I keep the tire pressure at the ford recommended 35 psi all around, depending on load. Keep in mind that this is a 4,694 lb vehicle (with 7 passengers).

I currently have about 45,000 miles on them, and they still have most of their tread left.

I was pretty impressed with their traction and responsiveness, on-road, and off-road. They have excellent dry traction, both braking and cornering, and are very responsive.

Wet traction fell off quite a bit around 38,000 miles. I now consider it to be mediocre in the rain, with the fact of it being VERY hydroplane resistant. Thankfully, the 4th-gen Explorer is well-balanced, and predictable so the mediocre wet traction can be handled.

I don't find them to be noisy, and the Explorer is an SUV where you would hear it if they were.

Off-road, in light and thick sand, they flex and float well when air pressure is dropped to 15-10psi respectively, and you will never get stuck with them. On rocks, and rutted trials they grip, and drive greatly.
