supersize

Description: What if you had more light when you needed it most, like while driving at night. Brighter light is as easy as upgrading to SilverStar® - the brightest, whitest, 100% legal halogen headlights.

SilverStar® is whiter light, closer to the color of daylight. Whiter light helps you see better at night. And if your night vision is better, night driving is safer.

Upgrade to SilverStar, seeing is believing.

Pros: Good Lighting
Cons:

I put a set of these in my girlfriends 01 Mustang and they illuminated the road pretty well. I like them and so does she.

Pros: Whiter light, seem brighter than stock
Cons: Expensive

I'm on my second set of Silverstar 9007s only because I sold my last Explorer and left the Silverstars on for the next driver. I remember reading lots of complaints that these things don't last long, but they seemed to be working for me before and they're working well for the few months they've been on. This was one of the first mods I did for my '99 Eddie Bauer.

While these bulbs have a whiter colour, they are nowhere near the colour of HIDs like Sylvania seems to advertise and other users claim. They're whiter than stock though and do seem brighter than stock as well.

Not the cheapest bulbs around, but not bad.

Overall I like these bulbs, but I'm still not convinced they're worth the premium price you pay for them.

Pros: excellent light
Cons:

I have them in both headlights and corners.

Honestly I do not kniow why all bulbs are not this bright. They are not overly piercing on other drivers eyes as are HID's and many of the bluer lights, yet they significantly enhanced the effectiveness of my headlights.

As to the corners I like the ionized coating in my clear corners. The lights appear to be irridescent blue/orange/gold. Yet they light up amber.

Very nice upgrade from standard bulbs. Have had these on many cars over the years and had nothing but good experiences.

Pros: Brighter and Whiter lighting
Cons: If put on high trucks, can dazzle other drivers badly.

I got these for my '96 Ford Taurus, Better lighting period.
They have allowed me to see things I never were able to see with my standard halogens. I've been shocked to see people in the dead of night walking! I never was able to see them before! Think of the possible accidents! This really helps if you want better lighting, but do not want HIDs or the possible Legality struggles of Xenon bulbs in non-projector housings.

Pros: Increased visibility, nice white look, Reputable big name company
Cons: A bit pricey (buy them when on sale or w/rebate)

I replaced my highs and lows with Silverstar Ultras and my fogs with Silverstars. I also replaced my Harley headlight as well. They really do improve visibility. I had them on my previous vehicle ('00 Navigator) as well.

That being said, if you're buying them for looks, you may find whiter bulbs out there. Beware of what you're buying though; you usually get what you pay for...
