Pros: price, ease of use
Cons: asthetics

Does what it says, and does it well! Accurate data, and can be fine-tuned to your vehicle. A great tool to have for any vehicle with ODBII.

Pros: Gives lots of useful info, price.
Cons: Fugly, bulky.

I scored one on a group buy through the site. I do like the info it provides. It came in very helpful when I had to recalibrate my speedo and tach after swapping out my OEM needles/gauge faces with those from a '02 Sport (white faces, red needles).

It is bigger than I expected and the physical design leaves a lot to be desired. Frankly, it's butt ugly. On my old Sport, I had room for it in the console just below the HVAC knobs. In my Eddie with Message Center, no place to keep it. I only use the Scangauge as needed now which kind of defeats the purpose.

They really need to make this unit smaller and look like it was designed in the new millenium and even the 90s! Switchable LEDs would be nice like they have in the Delphi Roady XM tuners.

Pros: Great unit for the price.
Cons: See below

This is a great basic scanner, especially given the price. It can pull and reset codes but will not explain them, so you'll need to have a DTC list handy for diagnostic work. As said above, it's bigger than it needs to be, and the styling could be better. My only real wish is that it would output transmission temperature data like my palm-based scanner does.

Pros: Accurate, helpful, a 2 year old could install it, not expensive
Cons: Ugly, doesn't give MPG or MPH ratings for 2nd Gen-A

The lack of MPH readings for 2nd Gen-A ('95-'97 I think, I know for a fact it doesnt give those readings for my '97) is a major drawback and also prevents MPG readings, but it still provides a ton of other information and is accurate. Not very aesthetically pleasing, and the backlight color (orange) could be better, but overall it's a very good product to have, not too expensive, very helpful, and extremely easy to install - it's plug and play.

Pros: Does everything I wanted in one package, Displays 4 readouts at once.
Cons: If you can't permantely install it, you have to take it with you to and from vehicle.

I love my scanguage II. Its has everything that its older brother has and few more options. Its very small and can be carried easily when you have to take it with you.
