I've seen lots of people slam these things because they don't look "cool". Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course. Personally, I don't mind them at all. I used a different version of this visor in my old '00 Sport (not the in channel model), and recently installed this model in my '99 Eddie Bauer.
I read about some people complaining about the install on 4 door models. Seems the rear window can be obstructed a bit when closing the window. I experienced similar issues when the unit was first installed on not only rear, but front as well. It seems the whole setup has "settled" a bit and not problems opening or closing windows.
What I like about this product is being able to open your window a bit when it's pouring rain out. I tend to only use AC when it's really hot. I like driving with windows open and always have (even when I lived in Bermuda).
This is a high quality product with simple installation. I like it a lot.

Pros:
keeps rain out, looks decent enough
Cons:
difficulty closing windows, easily damaged
Does a very good job at keeping all but the heaviest precipitation outside the vehicle.
Requires meticulous cleaning of the weather stripping before application. Often had difficulty rolling up one rear window as edge of visor would catch on glass. Very susceptible to trail damage, anything more than a light rub will cause the visor to crack, break or pop off.

i like them. i can leave the windows cracked in the summer, and i have had it rain without any getting in. i also smoke, and these are good for that. no ashes in the face. i like the way they look too.
