Pros: Smooth ride, great on snow and ice.
Cons: A bit pricey

I scored these for my '00 Sport a few weeks before I went ahead and traded in on a '99 Eddie Bauer with AWD. I have gone years without snow tires (relying on Michelin All Seasons with good success). Ever since I became a parent in '04 I find myself considering someone else for a change....my son. I decided to get better tires for winter, "just in case".

Combined with the AWD, these tires stick to road like glue in all conditions. We've had several snows this summer and Calgary streets are notorious for ice in winter because of the incompetence of our city workers. I have always been a good winter driver and know how to drive to the conditions, but with these tires and the AWD, it's almost like cheating. Good braking in all conditions as well.

On drive payment, they're pretty smooth and almost feel like all-seasons. Pretty cushy ride in all conditions.

Great winter tire.

Pros: Ice , water
Cons: slush, deep snow

As a ice tire these are spectacular! My 91 Ranger ran around on glare ice in 4 high with these on like it was bare and wet out. Pretty good in light snow (4 sandbags all winter , interior of BC ) but have a bit of trouble clearing the deep stuff, but you can feel when it happens so it is not a surprise. The only thing that really slowed me down was slush, they were not as good as mediocre winter or aggressive a/s 's but not to bad considering the amount of tread. So if you don't get huge dumps of snow a lot of slush you would be hard pressed to find a better tire. A 8 score because with the shallow tread they are a little over focused.
