Yep Def f'd that up. How do I get the pics on the thread without links?
There are a couple of ways:

1) Become an Elite Explorer. The cost is $20 a year and then you can upload pictures directly to the forum. You can also have your own avatar and a whole slew of other benefits (plus it helps keep the lights on in this great place.) I'm sure @peterk9 will be around soon enough and can give more details on the Elite Explorer membership.

2) If you use the icon that looks like a portrait (instead of the one that looks like a camera) you can upload your pictures to a hosting site (like photobucket, OneDrive, etc.) Just copy the URL of the picture, click the portrait image and insert the URL...and your pictures will show up here without having to click a link. :)

Welcome aboard. ;-)

Alright let's try this again... Wheels are painted with matte black high temp paint, I think they look pretty decent but still may upgrade them. Grill and rear trim bar painted to match wheels and ovals wrapped in carbon. Front windows are tinted to match the factory tint in the back but that's probably gonna have to change since they just passed a law in New York that makes window tint part of our yearly cash grab errrrrr safety inspection. No way they are passing like that lol. Ordered all the LEDs today, pretty nervous about putting my headlights in the oven... Could be a pretty expensive oopsie. Fingers crossed.

Nice!!! Welcome to Elite Status :) looking good, my friend.

Thanks, The ease of posting pics alone is worth the $20.
Welcome to the Forum Benny  and for helping to support it by taking out the Elite Membership.

Look who I met tonight! @jonnoriega is a great guy! Could have spent hours talking to him if I didn't have the little ones with me, haha. He took a few pictures, too (his turned out better as well.) We should try to get more of us in this general area together and have a meet-up. I think that would be awesome. :)

Definitely, brother. Your kids are awesome. I could've chatted all night as well. I'll be through your area again soon.

We'll have to make more time and should have other forum members join us! Much better to see cars up close, compare notes and make new friends.

Plus I'll have the car washed, too :p

Finished the headlight mod this weekend. Painted the chrome in that housings satin black, upgraded to hid's and added halos and led switchbacks. One of the resistors on the halos was faulty so they are sending me a new one. But the switchbacks look pretty decent. Kind of tough to see the amber during the day but I've still got the one on the mirrors so screw it lol. Tried to spray the amber lens inside the housing with nite shades and it melted the plastic so don't try to do that. Ended up taking another day to build it back up, sand and paint black.

Absolutely love the look. Congrats!

My wifes 13 Explorer, that I have completely become obsessed with luckily we have the same taste, just need to black out the door handles, and tint the windows...(Intake is part of a intercooler pipe off a 15 duramax) homemade bullshit..but works..once I sell the mustang going hard on the performance mods.

Personally I think the remaining pieces of chrome make the vehicle look nicer. Makes the black really stand out.

I know a lot of people like the chrome trim, but I personally can't stand chrome on any cars. Not sure why, but I've always had a thing against chrome, just seems to be on every car/motorcycle everywhere and I don't want any part of that :p

I'm the exact same way...I honestly can't figure out why I hate chrome so much I was just born that way I'm assuming..lol

I have a feeling it's because almost every car/motorcycle I see has chrome everywhere. But, who knows, I just like to be different, heh
