Hi everyone. So I just missed out on a 4-door 5-speed in SC that I couldn't get down to fast enough, and I'm not finding any via normal channels (CL, Cars.com, etc...) so I figure I'll post and see what happens. I am looking for a first or second gen with a stick and 4 wheel drive. I know, I know, unobtanium. Second choice would be a Bauer or Limited (or a Mounty, for that matter) with a 302 and AWD. There's a nice Bauer in Harrisburg that I am knocking around but it's a 4.0, probably SOHC which I was trying to avoid, and the mileage is mediocre...165k... I'd prefer something in above average condition, I'm looking to be able to drive this on road--this doesn't mean that it can't be modded, as I would probably do the TT and 31's or...

Like the title states, looking for factory owners manual and any other factory manuals for that year mountaineer. Thanks

During the trails at Moab, my torsion bars showed what they were made of, which is apparently a stiff form of silly putty, and made wheeling very... interesting. I need the "F" or "1" torsion bars to get Red back to the proper height. Let me know if you have what I need. I need them shipped to 77477 or local pickup.

Looking for a 4.56 geared front diff from a 2nd gen. I figure someone with a semi-built truck who is doing a SAS might have one. Open, limited slip, or locked is fine, doesn't matter to me. But it must have 4.56 gears!

Hey just looking for another ecm, corrosion got into mine ans chip so both must be replaced. Code was x2x2, was told I need this same ecm or the chip programs won't work properly! Please left me know if you have this ecm......!

I need a new 5 speed for a 4.0. A couple of my syncros are bad, and 5th gear makes a sound like escaping air. I would like it to be close to Memphis, and it should be in good condition. PM, or email.

I have a 2002 Mountaineer with gray two-tone leather seats. The second row seat behind the driver has been damaged on the bottom seating surface. I am flexible in getting this fixed; I can take anything from just the bottom seat skin to an entire vehicle if the cost works out, so please let me know of anything you have or anything you might know of. I believe the two outer seats are interchangeable when it comes to the seat bottom, so that is an option as well. Please either post here or email me directly at JMcAlister AT Gmail DOT com.

Tires no longer needed. Please close thread. Bought some Firestone Winterforce tires for winter driving. So far they have performed well.

A lady I work with has a 98 XLT that won't go all the way into park. The shift cable is broken, and not going all the way into Park. It has to be in neutral to start, and the only thing that holds it in place is the emergency brake. It's not safe right now.
