Cold But Still Elite

So, I found this today(9/5/08) and saw how cluttered it was and how upset it made me. So I took it upon my self to fix it up and kinda make it like a time line. I hope I get dates too So here we go please tell me what you think!

7/29/07 - This is an hour after I got my truck home from the dealership. I had not even shown my Mom the truck at this point in time. Most of you know my truck from what it looks like now. It has changed a lot Along with me, that was 4 months after getting out of the 2 month long trip in the hospital. Coma, Brain surgery, Arm rebuild, much more. So I had gained a lot of weight...Much skinnier now

9/9/07 - I had got my new head lights in the mail and put some cheap lights on the bumper. At this point it was de-badged and the tail lights were tinted black. I think I had made up my mind on the Black and White theme.

11/21/07 - Fender Bender, it does not look to bad on my end. $2000 in damage to my truck. I was sandwiched! A ***** in a Mercedes hit me damn hard pushing me into an Van. Oh well what can you do?

12/12/07 - Got my truck back from the body shop. They were very nice to me! They painted everything to match on my truck! Yay!

You know, how it says in my time line that my modding of the way my truck is done? Oops I think not I had a dream! I think when I win my Social Security Disability case, I'm going to drop some more money into my truck. I know I had said in the past that I would never lower it but in my dream it was SEXY! Lower it with some 20"s and take the bar off put the lights behind the grill Use my limited rims for winter sexy?!Cheers

So I had to type it some where so I'm typing it here! So 130 days ago I was 257lbs and I have been working my mother ####ing ass off! These last 130 days! I only step on a scale every 15 days and today is the 15 day. I'm all worried and sad and did not want to step on it. The last 15 days were rough I had been sick for 4 days and could not work out. I just got lazy some days and did not work out...And going out to the Brew House 3 times to have dinner and have a drink or 3 with some friends did not help. I was all worried! 15 days ago I was 201lbs, now today I am 195! I reached my ####ing goal! In these 130 days I have gone down 4-5 pant sizes too! I'm so happy with my self you have no idea! Happiest I have been with my body in YEARS!

So thanks to James I just got my X3 in the mail! So this is the last piece to my performance. I don't see my self spending anymore money on it at this time. So I have Intake, exhaust, TMH, SCT X3 programmer. I think I'm ok now I have not plugged it in yet to use it, but I will update this also when I do Should be fun Now I just need to melt the snow and throw my 20's on and rock it out!Cheers!

Post much? Haha I post all the time I think? Things are having there ups and downs. I'm REALLY sick, life has been rough to me yet good at the same time. My trucks driver door is caved in someone cut me off and into the snow bank I went. Yeah, ha lame!

A change for the better. I think the flames look totally out of place on your ride. I've never cared for the look on that other Alaskan's ride either.

Some like them some don't I mean oh well what can I do? It will be a lot more smooth with out them. A lot more clean once I get the 20's on this summer. My door is ####ED up haha oh well life throws a curve ball what else can you do besides work with it? I think with this money I'm also going to have every little thing fixed that I can. Who knows?

Danny, I much prefer the clean, street look. OK, some may see flames as part of that look, but they've never worked for me. Too busy. Same holds true for those Westin bars or whatever you call them. They just don't look right to me on a street Explorer.

I think your Limited could look real mean with new wheels/tires for sure. Obviously you've got the TMH in there to match up with the aggressive look.

Bummer about the door.

Well the flames are coming off along with the bar, the bar will be a winter thing. I have 20's for it...Here is a photo shop of them...I can't wait for summer to throw them on

I'm not a huge fan of the wheels (I'm pretty deadset on Cobra type 5 spokers), but I must admit the profile of your Limited looks very cool with that mock-up. It's going to look sharp when completed.

Good move on the bar. Put it on with your winter wheels.

Do you have an upgraded rear swaybar yet? Not sure if you did one yet, but that's a killer upgrade that would go part and parcel with your existing mods. A EE front spoiler would look pretty hot on it as well (sorry, you can't have mine!). I am Todd just scored a 2nd hand one recently. They do become available now and again. I don't think EE makes them anymore.
