The good stuff starts at 1:50, but its remarkable how they start with simple tinkertoys and build up a modern differential. A must see if you are not sure how a diff works. Good science project for kids in school too!

That is a truly awesome old auto shop video.... I'm guessing it was made for an auto shop class back in the 50s... Yet the principles are timeless!
 












go figure even a vid from the 30s is still good. i will watch. never really knew how they worked.
