Backup Camera Location

Does anyone know the location of the backup camera? Is it up high around the center high stop light or is it low close to the license plate? The reason is "WHEN" is get my Ex, I'll be heading out for a long vacation and I'm concerned that there my not be enough room for the whole family(5) and everything else. The two options are a roof mounted storage, Thule, or one connected to the trailer hitch. The roof mounted storage has the problem of lifting the bags to the roof, very awkward. The hitch mounted one may block the backup camera. The dealer here in the East Texas Sticks does not have an Ex to look at, so I need some help with the decision.

The backup camera is located above the license plate below the Explorer chrome trim.

I had 10 bags of mulch on my hitch rack last weekend...so stacked about 36", and my camera was still usable. Obviously not as great as with nothing, but still useful. Also, the roof only has a 100lb capacity, and most racks have a 500lb capacity.
