Oil in vacuum line

Hi all!

I noticed a oil in my vacuum line, could it be the transmissions modular or maybe should i look something more?

yeah that was what i thought, but a stupid question, how do i check it, how to i know if it's bad?

Check the vacuum line connected to the modulator for transmission fluid. There shouldn't be any fluid in there. Transmission fluid in the line is a sign of a ruptured diaphragm.

Problem solved!

It was the modulator. I did not remove the seats, had enough space when seats where far back as possible. Cursed myself having big hands, when i remembered to use left hand.

How did you accessthe modulator/ I got confused when you said you did not have to remove the seats.

It's possible to replace the modulator from the bottom of the vehicle without removing the front seats.

I just raised the carpet enough, so i could access the panel. If you remove the seats you have more space.

So, I guess one can access or get to the vacuum modulator from inside the truck. Thanks,. Not having trouble with mine yet.
