I just completed repairs on the four wheel drive shift motor and gears.

Of course, I got all the information needed from this web site.

Upon taking the motor apart, it proved to be in excelent condition. However, the plastic stop on the shift gear was shatters into many pieces.

As per instructions from our great Ford Web Site, I replace the missing plastic stop with a piece of fuel oil line.

Cleaned all up, put it back together and "lo and behold" now have four wheel drive.

I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia and climate not really severe enough to make a four wheel necessary.
