My 89 Bronco II has the factory axles still installed. I am trying to get the splined bolts that is connecting the driveshat off. I have a 1/2" spline socket but it doesnt seem to be the correct size. Does anyone know the correct size of these bolts or some other way to get these thins off?

It's either 12 or 13 MM socket. Most all your bolts are metric. The post before me said 12mm.

Yes, 12mm 12-pt.

use some musle to get it loose. Or if you have a lift use it to get to the bolts with wrench. Thats all i did when i had to replace the rear drive shaft when it decided to take a crap on me.

12 12 point with a wobble extensiom
