looking at getting tires and rims for my 03 limited 4x4. I've been doing research on this site for a while but haven't seen anyone running a 265/70/18 (32.6) which is an inch bigger than what I've heard will fit with no rub. the rims I'm wanting are18x9 -12 offset. would that offset cause rub or should I clear? if rubs is it something I can trim? *** wanting to get 2.5 front 1.75rear spacer lift at some point.

32.6" is almost 33" and I know Kazer had the 1.5" Body lift and the 2.25"(F) 1.75"(R) spacers and he rubbed and had to trim I believe his rims were -17 offset.? and I know there are one or two people who ran 33's on stock height the only one I can remember is wanaustomx and he said it rubbed at half turn that is on stock wheels though. Your best bet would be go for it and then maybe trim or zip tie back some plastic

thanks man looked up his old post "285's no lift" and they were a stock sixteen with 1/4 inch wheel spacer on a 285/75/16 which is between 32.68-32.76 for terra grapplers. so I think the offset of the rims should cut it for rub instead of a spacer. plus its a 285 so its a good bit wider. Looks like im in business!

well he said he "was a half **** before full turn" before it rubbed. lol
