This doesn't make much sense. You can get a radiator or shocks anywhere. I thought you meant to make an effort to serve needs nobody else does or else what is the point?

I'm not trying to be combative but rather, you won't get any traction in the market if you don't REALLY address the parts we need but can't find elsewhere.

Plus, your link wouldn't even load so either it's so full of affiliate links that it won't work or the website is overwhelmed. Not even being able to see the pages is... well, I can't depend on that.

I dig your feedback!

I just tested the link in multiple browsers, works fine!

The business is new with the objective of having all parts related eventually. The common parts are doing great in the market. The research shows that depending on geography people are saving gas and/or liking the idea of ordering Monday and having there parts by the weekend with out interrupting work or family time.

Do you run your own business? If you do let's talk shop! PM me bud!

I dig your feedback!

I just tested the link in multiple browsers, works fine!

It works fine here too, now, but not then... to load the page you linked for shocks and radiators, but then I go to click a link on the page like for the Dayco belt (which BTW I just bought at Autozone for $33 w/tax - $7 coupon code - $5 rebate = $21) and the page stalls.

http://www.blue-powered.com/Ford-Explorer-and-Ranger-Serpentine-Accessory-Belt-p/5060870.htm

Additionally, it is very annoying when I right-click to load the page link in a new browser tab, that instead of getting the menu to do that, I get the message "Sorry our images are copyrighted" when in fact a lot of them are not, cannot be copyrighted by your company or website because they are someone else's images!

That doesn't keep anyone from using images which aren't your property either, as it's very easy to get around that annoying website feature, plus a lot of customers wish to document their product purchases by including a picture saved as a file with their receipt among their vehicle records.

The Dayco belt for example, is at most one where merely the "Made In USA" is edited out. Here's that image on Autozone:
http://contentinfo.autozone.com/znetcs/product-info/en/US/dyc/5060930/image/4/
Here is it on your site:
http://cdn3.volusion.com/sxndv.qdnfr/v/vspfiles/photos/5060870-2T.jpg

Same is true for the other picture of the Dayco belt, which is here among other places:
http://shop.aftermark.net/catalog/i...-label-belt-6-rib-27-32-inch-wide-and-43-.png

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about you using someone else's images so much as that you can't claim copyright on those you don't own and the 'site anti-feature is annoying and unfriendly to visitors.

You are on it!

Thanks again for the input.

The copyright feature is a default on our site not done by choice which will be fixed. All images have been approved by the supplier. We are 100% aware that images from the supplier are available to all other sellers for use. We never intentionally tried to make the claim.

For price, they must of recently done a price drop. I'll have my the pops look into this for he handles pricing.

Good input on the images and how customers like to copy pictures to save with receipts. This is vital info!

We are super grateful for you knowledge,
Thanks again.

Thanks for this feedback. We are currently focused on the OE replacement side and will eventually get into the aftermarket performance parts. The more inquiries on performance parts the sooner we will carry them!

What brands do you prefer for performance parts like the header you mentioned? What's the top brands that you here everyone likes?

Thanks!

I am curious, why are you undercutting your $150 website price for the following alternator with the $99 (incl. shipping) price on Amazon? That's quite a large price difference!

http://www.blue-powered.com/Ford-Explorer-Alternator-p/507150.htm

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000CLDLQC/

It would also be nice to have more specs on items like this, for example the amperage rating since there are two different/common amperage alternators that fit (at least the) V6 gen II engines, and on the shocks page it doesn't mention front or rear, RWD vs AWD/4WD if front, etc.

That's especially important on the following shock because it's a front shock but will not work on vehicles with 4WD or AWD:
http://www.blue-powered.com/Ford-Explorer-Shocks-Struts-p/37177.htm

Lastly I know you probably don't want to hear it but in this day and age it's vital to be price competitive on any part you hope to sell. For example the Monroe OESpectrum 37177 shocks are $66 on your site and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have trouble finding those for less at the most common places I price check which are Amazon, Rock Auto, Advance Auto Parts (almost always has a discount coupon code) and Autozone. Yep, they're only $28 + a nominal shipping charge on Rock Auto and $33 on Amazon.

We have a few updates with our alternators that are being worked on today. We are a three person family doing our best on top of our 8 to 5's!

The title description of the shocks state: SHOCK - MONROE OESPECTRUM 37177 (FRONT, RWD) - EXPLORER, RANGER
http://www.blue-powered.com/Ford-Explorer-Shocks-Struts-p/37177.htm

We are in clear understanding of competitive pricing among competitors. As mentioned, we are doing our best to adjust accordingly.

When it comes to the Amazon beast the example I use is imagine a plaza of stores that has a shoe company like Foot Locker. Then Nike moves in to the plaza to have a retail store with a pricing structure that is direct. Foot Locker would loose in the battle. Amazon likes to buy stock for "Prime" and "Fulfillment" but at the end competes against the very sellers that pay to use there service. Brutal I know, but truth. Every time I purchase from Amazon I usually by from the small stores knowing they are being punked by Amazon. Amazon cares about volume, thats why they sell stuff below cost and focus on overall profit for the year.

^ Yes it's tough to compete against Amazon, but you'd have to build some extreme customer loyalty to get people to pay 100% more for the same parts. I just don't see it happening except when it's a local auto parts store and the vehicle repair is a rush job.

For me, I always shop price on the Internet and it usually
Comes down to rock auto, Amazon, or the local advance auto with their perpetual 35% off. I looked at the prices at blue powered and they are way out of line.

Only with time, consistency, and constant attention will we build relationships. We put people first. There are many companies ahead of us that we respect. Our objective is to focus on the brand we love and use. That is Ford.
:chug:

Nothing is forever. We will work to get the pricing "in-line".
Thanks for the feedback.

Noted on the parts, Thanks!

We have not opened up to Canada yet. When it comes to shipping cost from the US do you find it beneficial to order online?

Ordering from the states a lot of the time is just a joke..

The prices are great, even with the currently terrible exchange, but the shipping is what kills the deal.

Usually shipping anything from there is $40, minimum. Depending on the company used, there's more fees and it just adds up.

For example, I needed a bolt for my truck a while ago. Found it on Rock Auto for $2. Great price, right? Added it to my cart. After shipping fees, the $2 bolt was somewhere around $50.

Such a shame that they make it so expensive for both the consumer and companies like yours.

FYI (opinion). Your banner is too big (wide) for this site's layout. The site already has a problem because it's not mobile friendly. Your oversize banner just makes the problem worse and tends to have a bit of an overbearing look. Blended banners have a higher CTR too.

Interesting on the banner because its the size requirement requested.

"Blended banners have a higher CTR too". CTR as in Click Through Rate? How does a blended graphic increase this?
