The black chrome is a duplicolor clear coat spray paint. I have heard that it is removable with lots of elbow grease and paint remover. But it seems pretty permanent.

Has anyone replaced their Sport's EcoBoost candy bar emblem on the tailgate with the new 2015 Expedition one that's all black?

Tried to find one on Ebay , no luck so far.

I think Lincoln has a black one too.

Those ones I have seen but the Expedition has one ALL black no green leaves in it.

what is the best way to take off the badges without marking the paint? Heat gun?
