- 2020 Explorer ST
Picked up my ST a few days ago. Love it so far. My first car was a 1991 Explorer so I’ve gone full circle 25 years later. It’s a zero optioned ST except for all season mats which weren’t in the car so the dealer has them ordered.
Some observations off the bat: I’m glad i stuck with the stock 20”s. They are better in person than I expected and the black “pockets” really stand out. I also am impressed with the self parking nailing it every time. Also the Bluetooth connects to my phone in half the time it took my Tahoe to do.
Some dislikes,, I wish you could display more audio info on the 12” gauge cluster other than just the song name. Seems like that whole blank space on the left side is begging for album art or something else. I wish the child locks for the rear doors could be set with a button rather then having to insert the key into the actual lock on the inside of the door. I dig the “ST” puddle lamps but I wish You could have the option disable it.
Overall I’m loving my first few days and happy I made the switch (I had 4 tahoe’s in a row before this)
