What’s the difference between a 5r55e and 5r55s?
And would it bolt up the same as all electrical connections be the same.

There are only 2. 5R55W, introduced early 2000's, and 5R55S, about 2003 or 2004. Only one main difference exists: 2nd. gear ratio. This throws misinformation to the PCM if one trans is substituted for the other. imp
